1. Program Overview
Masterthon is a membership-based website payment program offered by Masterplan Creative, allowing clients to pay for website development in monthly instalments over a period of six (6) months.
2. Membership Fee
2.1 A once-off membership fee of R85 is required to qualify for the Masterthon program.
2.2 The membership fee is non-refundable under all circumstances.
2.3 No website work will commence until the membership fee has been successfully paid.
3. Website Packages & Payments
3.1 The following packages are available under Masterthon:
- Standard Website: R1,500 payable at R250 per month for 6 months
- WooCommerce Website: R3,000 payable at R500 per month for 6 months
3.2 All instalment payments must be made monthly and on time.
3.3 Failure to make payment may result in suspension of the website or services.
4. Ownership & Access
4.1 The website remains the property of Masterplan Creative until full payment has been received.
4.2 Administrative access, full ownership, and website files will only be released after final payment.
4.3 Masterplan Creative reserves the right to withhold access in cases of non-payment or breach of these terms.
5. Hosting & Maintenance
5.1 Hosting and basic maintenance are included only during the 6-month instalment period.
5.2 After completion of payments, continued hosting and maintenance will require a separate agreement.
6. Project Scope
6.1 The package includes only the features specified at the time of agreement.
6.2 Any additional features, revisions, or changes requested outside the agreed scope may incur additional charges.
6.3 Content (text, images, logos) must be provided by the client unless otherwise agreed.
7. Delays & Client Responsibilities
7.1 Masterplan Creative is not responsible for delays caused by:
- Late content submission
- Delayed feedback or approvals
- Non-payment or late payment
7.2 Project timelines may be adjusted accordingly.
8. Cancellations & Refunds
8.1 Clients may cancel the program at any time.
8.2 No refunds will be issued for:
- Membership fees
- Payments already made
8.3 In the event of cancellation, all work completed remains the property of Masterplan Creative.
9. Suspension & Termination
9.1 Masterplan Creative reserves the right to suspend or terminate services if:
- Payments are missed
- The client engages in abusive, unlawful, or unethical behaviour
- These Terms & Conditions are violated
9.2 Suspension does not release the client from outstanding payment obligations.
10. Liability
10.1 Masterplan Creative is not responsible for:
- Loss of profits or business
- Website downtime caused by third-party services
- Security breaches beyond reasonable control
10.2 The client uses the website and services at their own risk.
11. Amendments
11.1 Masterplan Creative reserves the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.
11.2 Clients will be notified of material changes where applicable.
12. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for the Masterthon program and/or making payment, the client confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
